I wasn’t sure whether distance learning was going to suit me, given that I was used to college, university etc – but I love that studying can work around me, there’s not too many stressful deadlines or anything like that
It’s been breezy really – whenever I’ve had an issue, which is very rarely, I could get in touch with my Learner Support Advisor (LSA) who would reply typically within 2 hours! I would recommend to anyone who wants a career in finance!

"The courses have given me so much more competence, and confidence too!"

I was persuaded by my father to seriously consider the line of accountancy work for a more secure future. I knew would open a lot of doors to different job opportunities in the future. I chose The Skills Network because one of my colleagues had previously used The Skills Network and highly recommended them. I also read many positive reviews.
I found that AAT provides a fantastic alternative to achieve an elite accounting qualification that is recognised by employers and provides you with invaluable knowledge of the industry. I also knew that by studying and achieving the AAT qualifications, I could continue my studies towards the ACA qualification and gain chartered status.
The simplicity of the level 2 and 3 courses has really given me so much more competence, and confidence too. The more I learn with AAT, the more I understand about the accountant’s role. I’d have to say I give it five stars! The online learning system- EQUAL is brilliant, with all the units and breakdown of sections, is really clear and easy.

"Studying AAT has helped me to grasp concepts at work so much quicker"

I wanted to study AAT qualifications due to the national recognition of the qualification and the building blocks it forms for you to eventually study for chartered status, if that is what you want to do. I chose The Skills Network because one of my colleagues had previously used the company and highly recommended it. I also read many positive reviews
Studying AAT alongside working in a finance role has helped me to grasp concepts at work so much quicker, and I am able to carry out tasks with a lot more ease than if I hadn’t learnt the AAT content
The online learning system, ‘EQUAL’, is brilliant − the interactive slides are good, and I really like how each slide isn’t crammed with information. It is all very neatly presented and easy to understand.
