Our Learner Voice

At The Skills Network, we are passionate about helping learners to progress through distance learning. Feedback is an important way that we make sure learners are getting the most out of their qualification, whether this means improving their employment situation, gaining a promotion, progressing onto higher level qualifications or simply increasing their confidence and skillset.

Listening to feedback is embedded in our learner journey – all learners are sent a survey after enrolment, and then another after completing their course. We also carry out quarterly Learner Voice campaigns, in which we interview learner representatives from all different sectors, ages and backgrounds to collect their in-depth feedback on the courses they have completed. We use this feedback to continually improve our services, and shape the learner journey to ensure that each individual gets the most out of their experience.

In 2017/2018, 1911 learners took part in our Learner Survey to appraise the quality of our services. We currently hold a customer satisfaction score of 84.2 out of 100, which compares positively to the national average of 80.4, and is an improvement on our score last year of 83.1 which exhibits the continuous improvement of our learning experience year-on-year. Following their experiences with our qualifications, our learners become advocates of The Skills Network.

We proudly hold a current Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 92 out of 100. An NPS is a measure of customer experience that shows how likely our learners are to recommend us to a friend or colleague.
