Taken from our suite of UK business courses, this programme will help your learners to develop the key skills and knowledge needed to enhance their success and development in their profession. This course is split into three areas – workplace awareness, personal health and well-being at work and customer service.
Once completed, learners may wish to browse our suite of UK business courses with a view to progress onto a qualification such as the Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business Administration or the Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Team Leading.
Unit 1: Workplace awareness
In this unit your learners will learn about equality and diversity in the workplace and rights and responsibilities, as well as fire safety management and the importance of DSE and COSHH risk assessments and controlling risks from hazardous substances. They will also learn how to apply safe manual handling principles and minimise waste.
Unit 2: Personal health and well-being at work
Within this unit your learners will learn about the importance of good health and well-being. They will cover a healthy diet and healthy food preparation, learn about understanding stress and learn how to plan a safe exercise session.
Unit 3: Customer service
In this unit your learners will cover factors that affect an organisation and the customer service role, how complaints are handled, working in a team, meeting the needs of customers and how to measure progress against objectives.
