The Skills Network exceeds fundraising target for the MS Society

Did you know that every day in the UK, 14 people are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis? It\'); s a life-long, chronic condition for which there is currently no cure. We\'); re fighting to improve treatment and care to help people with MS take control of their lives. The MS Society hold annual #ChallengeMS events and challenges to continue funding world-class research so that little by little, step by step, they can stop MS.

To #ChallengeMS, The Skills Network held a fantastic golf tournament that included a raffle and auction as well as office donations. With an initial target of £1500, we exceeded our target by raising an outstanding £1,655.15!

Eliot Grant, Chief Operating Officer of The Skills Network quoted

"Each month, the company aim to try and raise money for worthy causes by hosting various events from dress down days, coffee mornings, sponsored wing walks, fun runs and golf days. The golf day has become an annual event that is supported by staff, customers, clients, suppliers and friends of The Skills Network alike. This year we had a staggering 68 players attend the day which we held at Leeds Golf Club and it is truly humbling to know that people are prepared to put their hands in their pockets to support such a brilliant cause. This is the third year we have raised money for the MS Society and we hope that all the proceeds from the day will help make a difference to those that suffer from this debilitating neurological condition”.
